Making You Mine The Moreno Brothers edition by Elizabeth Reyes Romance eBooks
An excellent romance story that focuses on Family. The three Moreno brothers, Sal, Alex & Angel took over the successful restaurants from their parents and now juggle marriage & family with their work. This book tells all about Sal and his relationship with Grace. It's extremely rocky and they put each other through the paces and then some. Communication & honesty are the key issues these two fight constantly with. Both struggle with personal demons and how they overcome is a significant part of the story. The way the author conveys each character's background and how it affected their actions is well done and realistic. Nearly all families have dysfunction and the Moreno's are no different. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and appreciated the bonus chapters about Angel and Sarah. Overall a very good romance story.Product details

Making You Mine The Moreno Brothers edition by Elizabeth Reyes Romance eBooks Reviews
I love Sal. Period. End of story. He is my favorite Moreno. I also found Grace to be the most relate-able heroine Reyes has written (she is a lot like her sister Rose and Charlee from Hector). The plot of this novel went differently than the others. Sal was not as possessive or easily angered as his brothers, which I saw as a major plus (Angel sometimes gets on my nerves with the whole possessive thing). Anyway, I absolutely loved this book. Once you start, you will not be able to put it down. You have to know if Sal and Grace are going to make it. The ending is fantastic. Overall, it is a definite must read for any romance fan.
I loved that i was able to find out if Sal was ever going to find someone he could call his wife. Sal was the story that i was looking foward to reading out of all the Moreno Brothers stories. His story is a little bit different the Angel, Alex, Sofie and Romero, He met grace in an interview and never gave her that change to work at his restruant as a cook, but as a bartender he would but it was not what she was looking to do, she wanted to work in the kitchen where her passion is. Grace when back after a week or so since her interview with Sal and talked to Alex and he gave her a change to impress him and she did with her bartending skills.Once she was there for a while she was able to show Alex, Sal and Sofie just how impressive her cooking skills are. I think Sal fell for Grace in less time then it did for Alex and Angle to fall in love with their wives. I loved the fact that he was a perfect gentelman when it came to grace and that she had not has sex yet, and i loved the fact that once she left he tried to get her to come back to him but was not able to get her back until a month later when the help of Romero and the fact that she found out that she was pregnante with his kid and hearing that he had proof that he didnt cheat on her when he was in Vegas. They did move fast in getting married before the baby came. Another thing that i loved about Sal was that he was willing to let Graces sister Rose move in with them and treated her like she was his sister and helped/supported her in being the best soccer player she could be.
If you're tired of reading romances featuring men who aren't terrible, check out this book. Sal is a selfish, possessive, entitled, and violent jerk and this is the story of a young and inexperienced woman fleeing a terrible home life only to be subjected to his twisted version of "love."
Nothing romantic at all about this trainwreck.
The character development was forced and parts of the story were forced or dull. My major annoyance was how unreasonably jealous all the Moreno brothers were. Also, the drama wasn't the least bit interesting. I would like to read Rose's book.
Sal, the oldest of the Moreno brothers. We really don't see much of him in the other books and I liked that. The mystery of it all is intriguing. Getting to know this overly structured man was interesting. He has a set of standards that I don't think anyone will comprehend. He is in charge of managing the two restaurants and he wants everything to be PERFECT! Ran a certain way but... not everything will go according to plan. In his meticulous planning he never counted for Grace! Oh did that girl leave an impression and one that he didn't care for at first. I love when he talks about their initial meeting and she was wearing those ridiculous glassed in the attempt to look older. I was laughing so hard, I can totally picture the scene.
Grace is desperate, she needs a job and she needs it LAST WEEK!! Her home life is not what anyone would want and her mother really gets under the readers skin and I kid you not we begin to dig a hole for this "mother" as we read because we need her out of the picture. Grace is focused on saving money to move out and take her little sister Rose with her. She needs to be happy and needs her sister safe. She is going to culinary arts school and is applying for the head cook position at Moreno's the hottest spot in La Jolla. This position will open up opportunities for her. But her dream is cut short by Sal, he claims she is too young and lacks experience. Oh, little does he know!
The story evolves into what Sal and Grace are feeling and wanting and how those around them will stop at nothing to make them see how perfect they are for each other. They are the perfect balance. We meet Sal's cousin Vincent and Grace's best friends; Joey and Taylor who I just adore. The story has its ups and downs and twist and turns and it makes for a beautiful Cinderella story. Sal, steps it up and I'm swooning over his tenderness and love for his beautiful love.
Revised I have a love hate relationship with this book. Many parts I didn't care for and there is nothing worse than major OW drama! And boy, was there life-altering drama. Way too much!
Was it safe? That kind of depends. There is something pretty terrible that happens that the Hero is involved in. Can't go into details or it will ruin it for you if you want to read it. Suffice it to say it works out in the end but it was a very, very long bumpy ride.
I will say this. If I knew the storyline and all the dreadful angst I wouldn't have read it, therefore, I cannot recommend it.
Also, there is such a long time that the reader hears time and time again of his guilt that by the time its at the end it is difficult to shift gears.
An excellent romance story that focuses on Family.
